Biography
Jean-Charles Poirot was born in Chamonix in 1980.
Fascinated by the photography since its youngest age, its route allowed him to learn about the practice together with experimented photographers.
After years of tries and questionings, he develops his own criticism and finds a potential, a life line.
The passion of the photography gets involved in the passion of its native country and create a need:
- Live privileged moments in mountain.
- Share these moments burnt in memory with a maximum of people.
- Make discover the valley of Chamonix and its exceptional natural heritage by photographs.
- Discover new landscapes and people.Jean-Charles becomes a ski instructor in Chamonix and so develop his activities through seasons.
Working today as independent, he spends most of his time in mountain to walk in the tracks of his ancestors, equipment on the back, convictions and dreams in the head.
